THE GRANGE SCHOOL, BRISTOL
The site was originally tennis courts on both plateaus, with no fencing and limited access. South Wales Sports Grounds Contractors were employed as sub contractors to re-generate the facilities. Work included taking up all existing tarmac playing surfaces and importing, spreading and re-levelling of stone to both plateaus. Drainage was laid and retaining walls constructed which allowed the courts to be access by a new path. Perimeter kerbing was laid, as was new tarmac and line marking to both areas. Perimeter fencing was also erected to the top plateau. Ancillary works include pedestrian rails to all new paths and newly constructed steps and retaining walls. Floodlighting.
