South Wales Sports Grounds was involved in the construction of a new full-size sand and grass pitch. Additionally, SWSGL were responsible for erecting the perimeter fence and floodlight columns, installation of new drainage and irrigation systems, and construction of grandstand and groundsman’s building.

The Fibre Sand pitch was constructed as part of the overall project awarded to SWSGL to create the playing facilities for the new National Development Centre at Newport International Sports Village.
